Hello Gurus,
I am planning to apply for EAD and AP. Debating myself if I have to go with e-filing or paper based. Some one told me, paper based DOES NOTrequired biometrics where as E-filing DOES need biometrics? Could you please shed some light on this?

No one can guarantee you what you will be asked for. Take everything that you normally need. Legally company MUST give you pay stubs in some form (electronic or paper) if they have paid you. What is the reason for not generating pay stubs if you have worked there after I-797 approval notice or even just after filing? Visa stamp on passport is not required.

Yes, you can hold on to the priority date if you have copy of approved I-140 and you old company doesn't revoke the I-140.
b) If this Company B were to file for H1-B , as I understand it would count towards the 2007-2008 quota which opens on April 1st '07...does this scenario also force you to not start working till Oct'07 (which is when ppl who file in the 2007-08 quota are supposed to start working).
If you are already on a H1 and are only doing a H1B transfer, it will not not count towards quota (unless your current H1B is for non-profit org and new H1B is for a for-profit org). You can start working as soon as you get the receipt. But, if you are applying for a fresh H1B, it will count towards quota and you will have to wait till Oct 07 before starting to work.

As per the new visa bulletin, my PD (Mar/26/2006) goes current from 1/September.
My husband is the primary applicant on the case with me and son as dependents.
485s submitted in Sep/2007. We received RFE for my son application and replied, we received update from USCIS that it reached them in July/2009.
USCIS web case status shows 'initial review' for me and my husband, 'RFE response review' for my son.
As we filed together, does this mean that all three applications were processed and RFE was required only for my son?

1. If she is outside the country , you would have to get her H-4 at the nearest consulate.
2. If she is in the country , and assuming you want to change her status to H4 , you can do it by filing the change of status form with USCIS.
Either way I do not think you would be requiring a lawyer. It is pretty straight forward. All the required instructions are on the form.
