Hi,My I-140 was approved on 07/02/2008.I recieved an email update and online status also showing Approval notice sent.This monday my attroney send me a copy of Approval notice.

Notice Date :01/09/2008
Approval Date:07/02/2008

Category :EB2.
PD :Dec'2006.
No concurrent filing.
Waiting to file I-485.

hey thanks!! Yet to see the copy of denial notice..does anyone knows whether appeal process entitles you to stay legally in US untill the final verdict?? I read somewhere that if your I94 /visa is expired , then the appeal period is illegal!!

I filed for 485 went to India came back to USA. I didn't have any 485 receipts with me.
Had no issues what so ever, in fact I was not asked anything about 485 application. After coming back went for finger printing , that means my application is still in process.
Important Note :- During this period I had valid H1b stamp on my passport.

Yes, that's so true. But ensure, the duck is on a leash. otherwise it may never get back and make you wait at the shore forever....( Case in point, hard earned/saved money in stock market and unaffordable home.....waiting for ever for the recovery)

My company has just changed the rules. From now they are unwilling to pay the costs incurred in the visa extensions for the spouse.
